RECEIVED
William
Riead has won numerous awards and is especially proud of the Golden Eagle
Award he received from the Council of International Non-Theatrical Events
in Washington, D.C. for his documentary Change of Heart on the subject
of preventive heart disease, a film he made with Walter Matthau, Rod Steiger
and Arthur Ashe.
Other
awards he has received include the Silver Certificate from the John Muir
Medical Film Festival, the 1985 M.I.P. Award from the World Health Organization,
the Magna Cum Laude Award in 1985, a Cable ACE Award nomination in 1986,
and the Industrial Film Award in 1987.
